NEW CHAIRMAN, TRUSTEES FOR COOKS GARDENS TRUST BOARD
There has been a major overhaul of the Cooks Gardens Trust Board with Mayor Michael Laws announcing the appointment of a new chairman and three new trustees.
“ It would be fair to say that our council has had concerns with the operation and finances of the Cooks Gardens Trust Board for sometime,” says Mayor Laws.
“ Cooks Gardens’ future management is now under review and the new trustees will be influential as to the best option.”
The new chairman is Wanganui lawyer Richard Moore of Moore Law. He replaces Gerald McDouall who retired earlier this year.
The new trustees are former Sport Wanganui chairperson Mrs Chris Jones, regional councillor Bob Walker and businessman Nygllhuw Morris. Consultant Geoff Hintz remains as a trustee.
Retiring trustees are Richard Bullock, Bronwyn Paul and Mark Stoneman.
